Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication (Pune-411004)-Offers a two-year full time Master’s Programme in Mass Communication (MPMC). Specialisation offered are Print Media and Cyber Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and Corporate Communication, Broadcast Journalism and Film and Video Production

Asian College of Journalism (Chennai-600002)-Founded in 1994 by the BD Goneka Foundation (of Indian Express Group), Asian College of Journalism, earlier located in Bangalore, has shifted to Chennai in March, 2000. The college is now a part of the Asian Media Institute, established by the Media Development Foundation with which The Hindi is closely associated. Beginning with the academic year August 2000 the College is offering a one-year full-time course in four streams viz., (i) Print, (ii) Television, (iii) Bi-Media (Radio-TV), and (iv) New Media.

Successful candidates are awarded PG Diploma in Journalism. The course is open to holders of Bachelor’s degree in any discipline Admission is based on the basis of an entrance examination conducted at various centres in India and abroad followed by an in-depth interview. The college has professional linkages with reputed journalism education and training institutions in the Us and UK. The TV course is supported by the British Broadcasting Corporation, while the New Media course is offered in partnership with reputed organisations in the field of information Technology (IT) in India and abroad.

Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media (Bangalore-560084)-Established in January 2000 by the BS & G Foundation, the institute would offer its Diploma programme with special emphasis on Web reporting and publishing. The curriculum developed in association with the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism is claimed to be equivalent to Master’s degree in Journalism. The programme is open to graduates in any discipline. There is no age bar

The School of Contemporary Media (New Delhi-110065)-Established in 2000, it offers Postgraduate Diploma in Internet Journalism of one-year duration which covers “Online/Internet/e-Journalism in addition to Press Reporting &Editing, Radio & TV, Media Law Ethics & Economics”

Eenadu School of Journalism (Hyderabad-500082)-PG Diploma in Journalism

The Times School of Journalism, Times Centre of Media Studies (New Delhi-110002)-Postgraduate Diploma Programme in Journalism of nine months duration including six weeks internship with the Times of India and the Economic Times
